Because they don’t judge; they only bear witness. Take away the words, and what remains is the pure gaze, instinct and unconditional loyalty. For me, these Silent Witnesses are the mute sages of the street, life’s stubbornness between piles of concrete, and the city’s most vulnerable yet most honest faces.
